Copies of the Dutch edition of Bad Behaviour arrived at my house this morning. I love seeing my books in translation and The House of Books, who publish me in the Netherlands, always do a great job. I once worked for a Dutch bank but I didn’t learn much of the language but I can recognise a few words here and there. I hope my Dutch readers enjoy De Uitnodiging!

I agree, a story always loses some of it’s strength after translation.
Being from Belgium and now living in Canada, I have both English and Dutch.
It’s nice that your books are being translated Sheila, but Dutch readers will be missing out.
I even wonder why they called Bad Behaviour ‘De Uitnodiging’, Bad Behaviour in Dutch is Slecht Gedrag.
Still, congratulations with this new release. I hope many copies are sold.

I’m only going to read the books in the original language though, translations are fading the strength of stories
