I am proud to have contributed 2 novels to the Open Door Series which, among many others, includes Patricia Scanlan, Marian Keyes, Cathy Kelly, Roddy Doyle, Dermot Bolger and Deirdre Purcell. These short novels are written for adults who have had problems with reading in the past, or who have come to reading late in life. They are also widely read by students of English.
My two novels in the Open Door Series are Maggie’s Story and Three of a Kind.
Maggie’s Story is about a woman who thinks that life is passing her by. Her life seems dull and boring and she feels unappreciated by her family. She knows that something has to change. But can she make those changes herself?
Three of a Kind was specially adapted from a story in my Connections collection. In this case, a fabulous wedding in the Caribbean which goes horribly wrong when an unexpected guest shows up.
In addition to the Open Door Series, I have written a novel called Follow Me for the Quick Reads series. Follow Me features a career girl called Pippa who thinks she’s being followed by a handsome stranger who turns up everywhere she does.
