It was lovely to meet with Irish, English, Spanish and Norweigan readers at BookWorld Espana, Habeneras Centre today. I have such wonderful readers it’s always a pleasure to talk to you. Meantime, my globe-trotting mum found Italian and Dutch editions of my books in the Marriott Hotel, Portugal.

A Bookish Weekend
May 15
Lots of books on the agenda this weekend . I opened the Docklands 2nd hand book fair at the NCI IFSC campus yesterday morning. All books @ €1 which is great value and if they sell the 20,000 that they have that’s much needed funds for the Seniors Providers Groups in the Docklands area.
Then off to the Kildare Readers Festival where I met old friend Marian Higgins who’s now the Senior Executive Librarian. Was interviewed by the lovely Julie Duane and we had a great Q&A session afterwards with all the people who came along. I love meeting my readers – you’re a great bunch of people!!!!
As part of the Kildare Readers Festival 14-16th May I’ll be chatting to Julie Duane from 10.30-11.30 on Saturday 15th in the ballroom of the Osprey Hotel on anything and everything to do with writing. So if you’re looking for something to do that morning why not join us? It’s free but you have to book in advance with the festival at: www.kildarereadersfestival.ie
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Hi everyone
I didn’t say anything about this before because I wasn’t sure that it would happen this year but I’m delighted to tell you that I will be bringing out a new short story collection in October, called A Season to Remember. I hope you’ll enjoy all the new characters and their stories as well as catching up with Cora, Andie and Jin from Anyone But Him. My publishers are working on a cover right now and as soon as I have anything to show you I’ll put it up on site. I’m really excited about this new collection which has a festive theme…..I hope you’ll all like it too!

There are lots of nominations for some wonderful Irish writers, but I’m chuffed that Yours, Faithfully is among the novels that have been nominated for Irish Book of the Decade!
