AboutSisters are
the theme of this book! I've two myself and though we're all very different
in many ways we know that there is a shared bond between us. I do mention
in the acknowledgements that with a book about three sisters people will
assume that this one must be autobiographical. But once again - no!
These sisters, Nessa, Cate and Bree are quite different. Nessa (Cancer)
is the domesticated one; Cate (Aries) is the career-oriented one; and Bree
(Sagittarius) is the flighty one - even though she's a mechanic.
They all end up with man-trouble in their lives and the book is really about
how they see each other through it. It's also about how we ask for advice,
love giving advice but still end up doing our own sweet thing! This time
the chapter headings relate to astrology since Nessa is a great believer
in it.
I'll be a great believer the day mine tells me that I'm about to win the
Lotto and I actually do.

- "A humorous novel that follows the romantic ups and downs of three sisters"
- Chicago Tribune
- "In her first novel to be published in the U.S., O'Flanagan puts her initially
stereotypical characters through so much good conversation-both sharp repartee
and introspective soul searching-that they come to life... Overall, O'Flanagan
manages to keep wisdom and humor at the forefront and tosses in nice touches
like chapter heads keyed into Nessa's interest in astrology" -

- "O'Flanagan's delightful U.S. debut chronicles the trials and tribulations
of the Driscoll sisters... A fun, snappy tale of three likable sisters and
the men who give them so much heartache." - Booklist
