      Caroline's Sister

I wanted to write about a family feud. I wondered what would make two sisters not speak to each other for a long period of time and decided that it would have to be a man! I also wanted to write about how two very different people cope with unexpected events and a little bit about the rivalry between them. People say that there is a lot of family life in my books. I think the older you get the more you realise the impact your family has on you – in the case of Caroline and her sister, family becomes very important. In Irish editions, Caroline’s sister’s name is Tossa which is used as an abbreviation of Theresa. But outside Ireland she’s known as Tessa.

I love the idea that people can be so very different from each other even when they have the same parents!

        Hello!

I’ve just finished this book and its very good! Here in Germany Carolines Sisters name is also Tossa, i think Tossa is better than Tessa.

I liked Tossa very much, maybe she’s like me, a little bit. Simon and Seth are typically, just like mans! No wonder, why women have no trust in mans anymore… Sorry for my english.

        best whishes!

Panicking because I have now neally read all of your books, and I only found out about you as an
author in October!! I tend to do this with most authors and read all of their books, but then get bored and read something else. Not with you though, every book is brilliant, and You get to know the characters so well. This book is no exception, loved it. Keep writing!!

I have just finished reading this book…
and i thought it was fabulous the way the two sister finally made it up and noticed just how much they really missed each other!
To be honest the only reason i read this book was because i read Bad Behavior before and thought that that wouyld be as good as it gets then a friend said that i should try Carolines Sister and i am so so so so glad i did! I myselfg have to older sister and we have our rows and arguements but after reading this book i became more and more grateful that i have never had a massive arguement like Caroline and Tessa did! It must be heartbreaking for some people who are going through a stage in there lifes that is simular to tessa’s and caroline’s but i think i shall be ready a lot more of your books as they keep telling me more and more about life! Hope you can talk back and give me an idea of what to read next…
        big fan
