Hi Sheila

So far I’ve read the books ‘bad behaviour’, ’someone special’, ‘Isobel’s wedding’, ‘anyone but him’ – but most of all I enjoyed ‘How will I know?’.

I just wanted to let you know that – even in Switzerland – you have a huuuuuge fan. The next time (rather sooner than later!!) I’m visiting Ireland I have to stock up on your books.

Further more I’d like to thank you – without your books my English would be (even) worse than it is. It’s great fun to learn a language with books like those you write.

Keep on writing – you’re great!

I’ve heard of the name Bryg but in the book that I have it suggests it’s a variant of Brigid. However since Brigid means ‘exalted one’ I guess the meaning is still the same.

I hope your daughter is living up to her name!!!

I absolutely adored it! Now I have to buy your next book immediately.

I just looked through your Irish name section and as far as I know Bree is the anglicized form of Bryg which mean mighty or high (It`s my daughters name so I feel somehow forced to correct this ).

Hi Sheila,

I’m a 20 year old German girl who never really cared about books and reading. Some days ago, when I was kind of bored, I found your book “How will i know” at my boyfriend’s. I started reading the first page and somehow I couldn’t stop. So now I’m on page 230 and I’m amazed that for the first time in my life, I really enjoy reading! The story is very touching and exciting. My boyfriend also has “Bad Behaviour” so that will be the next one to read.

PS: I like the simple style of your writing that makes it easy to understand, even for Germans.

Dear Sheila, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your books. Ever since reading my first book of yours ‘Suddenly Single’ many years ago, I’ve been hooked on your work!
